in Silo is various in the summer. In the centre of
Silo the numerous concerts
take place. There are a creative workshops, entertainer for children at
the evening, games for children on the beach. The Fishing day belongs to the
highlights of the summer.
Each year, on 15. August (Assumption of Mary) takes
place in Silo on the island Krk the
swimming marathon. The swimming marathon with the length of 3800
m is running from Silo on the island Krk to Crikvenica.
The Silo-marathon
has a tradition of more than one hundred years and
is one of the oldest marathons of this kind in the Adriatic Sea.

rich on small white fleshed fish, octopuses and groupers
- Plovanov stol - at the transition point from Vinodolski kanal
to Velebitski kanal

(Baska) with its more than 70
dive locations you can visit well-preserved, beautiful underwater
landscapes.
